Tombola Sister Sites FAQ
How do I register at sites like Tombola?
The exact registration process will differ depending on which of these bingo sites you use but they will all follow a similar pattern. Typically, the sign up procedure will be in two to three stages, starting with your name and a contact email.
Further essential personal information will then be requested including your full name and personal address. Finally, you can expect to set a username and password for when you log in before setting up your account preferences. Those preferences would include your currency default and, possibly, any deposit limits that you wish to self impose.
Be prepared to send over proof of ID if requested. If the operator cannot verify you then they may ask to see a scanned copy of your passport or driver’s license plus a copy of a utility bill to confirm your address.
While there are a number of steps involved, registration should be fast and simple and you can expect to be playing bingo for real in just a few minutes.
What’s the minimum amount I can deposit?
Once again, the answer might depend on the operator that you use and the funding method in question. At Tombola Bingo, the minimum deposit required is £10.00 and this is fairly typical of bingo sites as a whole.
On occasions, you may be able to start playing with as little as £5.00 but, as a general rule, £10.00 is the more common figure.
What’s the RTP at Tombola-like bingo sites?
Bingo is a game of chance but at the end of that game, some lucky players will win a cash prize. At the same time, a company such as Tombola will retain a portion of the stakes as they have to cover the running costs of the games and, of course, they have to make a profit.
RTP – or Return to Player – is the average percentage of stakes that are returned to players over a period of time. The exact percentage will vary depending on the type of game that’s being played but in general, you can expect this level to be set at around 70%.
This means that, over a long period of time, for every £1.00 staked, the bingo site will pay back 70p in cash prizes. This is independently monitored so that any overall RTP shown is guaranteed.
Of course, the exact results will vary from player to player. Some will return a profit, others will be close to the 70% mark but, if your luck is out, returns will be less than the average figure.
Which is the biggest bingo site in the UK?
Tombola bingo make the bold claim to be Britain’s biggest bingo site with a big customer base and a wide choice of games. For a company that focuses on bingo specifically, they certainly back up that claim to be the biggest and they are also up there with the best.
Can I play Bingo Lite at sites like Tombola?
Bingo Lite is a fast-paced 90 ball game with tickets starting from just 2p. It’s an exclusive name for Tombola and it’s played extensively here.
You may not be able to play the identical version of Bingo Lite at a Tombola sister site but many of the recommended bingo operators on our list will have similar, low stakes 90 ball games.
